Not many modern day creatives can say they have been directly inspired by the likes of award-winning composer,  Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber and lyricist Sir Tim Rice. In Ashley David’s early years he was involved in the film/musical, Joseph and The amazing technicoloured dream coat. Starring Donnie Osmond and the late Richard Attenborough. The child star also performed the nutcracker as a classically trained dancer at the Royal Opera House. 


After his early years in theatre and dance, Ashley moved on to college and university to study animation and became a freelance creative director/ graphic designer, being branded as a 360 degree artist amongst his industry peers. For the past 7 years, Ashley has been the visual aid to many visual campaigns, grabbing the attention of labels and independent companies. During Ashley’s creative studies he developed a team of animators and producers of which he has worked with up until this date.

Born into a multitalented family, Ashley David has been cultivated musically by the strong influences of his Father being in an award-winning gospel group The wades, his older brother a chart topping songwriter (Wretch 32 and 6 words) and was previously in mobo nominated group FDM. As well as his first cousin, Producer Deanyboy (Shystie ‘Stop’) who he works closely with on his current project. 

Ashley David’s addictive, charismatic personality, style and smooth, melodic voice gives distinct recognition within the music industry, with a past lit so bright and a future of endless possibilities, Ashley David is looking to not only inspire within the UK  but to expand internationally giving a voice to the innovative generation, pushing the sounds of Alternative R&B, Pop, Funk, Dance, Electro, Reggae & Soul, interwoven with his experience in the arts.
